Basic Back Trunk Support

The basic Back Trunk Support for the Imp tricycle has a broader wrap-around support with a waist strap which has verical and horizontal adjustments. The broad upholstered support gives extra stability to younger children. A pelvic strap can be added for more pelvic control.

The basic Back Trunk Support for the larger tricycles such as the Terrier and TMX models has a padded wrap-around support with waist strap which an be adjusted vertically and harizontally. A pelvic strap can be added for more pelvic control.

In Line Back Trunk Support

The Ultimate trunk control system.




This unit provides trunk and pelvic stability and can be adjusted horizontally and vertically. It has a padded back pad, two curved lateral supports, waist strap and pelvic strap. The lateral supports can be independently adjusted in height and width and can swing-away for ease of transfer. Two sizes of lateral supports are available. These are a 6 1/2" Lateral Pad and 9" Lateral Pad.

Self Balance Pedals

These as the name suggests have a special counterweight so that they always turn the right way up. A cycle style toeclip is attached at the front to locate the foot. Can also be supplied with a heel loop thus securing the foot. This accessory is only available on TMX and Tracker models and is for the more able rider.

Rear Carrier Basket

Please note - The Rear Carrier Basket cannot be used with the Rear Steering System.

Leg Calipers

Locates into a footsandal bracket and can be used individually or in pairs. It helps to prevent abduction and adduction by supporting the riders leg below the knee in a padded cuff.

**Leg Calipers can ONLY be used in conjunction with TRIAID Foot Sandals attached to the pedals of the TRIAID Tricycle**

Comfort Saddle

The comfort saddle is ideal for riders who require less trunk/back support.

This particular seat has a broad seating area together with a lower back support. It is intended for riders with a higher seating function.


Note, this type of saddle cannot be used in conjunction with our Back/Trunk Support or our In-Line Back Support.

Can only be fitted on Terrier, TMX, TMX T5, Tracker, & Tracker T5 tricycles

New Product - Contour Saddle

This large saddle is contoured to help tilt the pelvis to stop the rider sliding forward on the saddle. The contoured shape holds the pelvis in a good position and the raised front section helps to abduct the legs to stop scissoring or the coming together of the knees.

Both styles of trunk support can be used with the NEW contour saddle.

Benefits of the contour saddle are as follows:

- Its anatomic shape means that rider sits more into the saddle
- the seat shape angles the pelvis to a better riding position
- its broad which again gives good pelvic stability.
- there is a raised medial section in the seat that acts in the same way as
pommel by helping to abduct the legs slightly
- shaped so that it provides better seating position & much less likelihood
of sliding forward in the seat. Best used in conjunction with standard or
padded pelvic straps.

Can ONLY be fitted to TMX, Tracker 20", Tracker 24" & T5 trikes.
Must be specified at time of order.
